Sprint and Verizon can be unlocked for eachother. TMobile and Cingular can be unlocked and used on eachothers network. Sprint and Verizon are CDMA, TMobile and Cingular are GSM. TMobile and Cingular will allow you to have multiple phones on the same chip, you just swap it out from the back, with Sprint and Verizon, you have to call to activate a phone. So, if you have Verizon, make sure the name on the phone is Sprint and then make sure that it is unlocked, otherwise it is junk to you.
