If I buy an xbox from a third party but it has the warranty seal in tact, is it still under warranty?
I want to know if I can send in an Xbox console with the warranty seal still in tact to Microsoft to fix. I read that Microsoft extended the warranty to three years on all consoles with the seal still on.

yes. the warranty goes with the system. im not super sure with xbox, but i had to send in my zune which microsoft makes as well.brbri went online to the zune website and had to click the little service help link. i typed out my problem and they mailed me a box to send it back in. they wanted proof of purchase i sent them the box it came in, but a receipt or credit card statement or something should work as well and my zune. in a few days they sent me a new one. that was it.brbrif you have questions, you should be able to call microsoft and ask directly though. thats still your best bet.
