Question
If i buy an ipod is there any music already installed in it? and if nothing how i will put music in it n cost?
my son would like me to buy him an ipod. what is the best option and i am also concern of the cost of putting or downloading music in it. the one i saw cost . is it reasonable for a boy years of age to have this very expensive electronics? i want to give it to him as a gift.
Answer
get him a zen micro. gb or so. Thats more appropriate.brbrWhen it comes to practicality and reason, an eight year old doesnt need a gb video iPod heck, nobody does for that matter.Though when it comes to being cool and up with the latest fad, well thats another story..brbrMake him save up for part of the iPod if he wants it that badly. Or else try to persuade him to get something along the lines of the zen micro or iPod nano.brbrAlso know that iPods of all makes, especially those of the third generation and beyond around present generally only last two years. And sometime within those two years youll need to replace the battery. That will cost unless you have a special warrently on it. Youve got to send the iPod in, and its a shot in the wind if youll ever get it back. Sometimes theyll just pitch your iPod with all your music on it!, and send you a brand new one.But most other mp players, especially those from Creative, only require a battery change every threefour years. And the battery only cost . And you can easily do it yourself. And other mp players have a life a lot longer than two yearsusually between years.brbrAs far as puting music on the player.. If you or your son have CDs you like, simply put them on your computer and transfer them to the player. Or you can get a peer to peer program like limewire, kazaa, bear share, or bit torrent, and get music that way for free. or get napster, and pay around a dollar a song.brbrhope this helps!
